The Phoenix Fighters are a bit thrown by how unfocused and loopy Adriana is acting.  Chalking it up to her pregnancy, however, they do their best to carry on with the daily task of defending Shaldani.  One night, Adriana calls a meeting to discuss the annual file reviews that she and Aden have begun, evaluating the performance and behavior of each of the Phoenix Fighters.  When Tranns mouths off during the meeting, making a backhanded comment about Kazuo, Adriana orders them to kiss and make up.  Everyone is surprised when the two of them instantly begin kissing.

 

They all voice their disapproval, loudest of all being Jake.  Adriana asks him if there's anything else he'd like to add and Jake begins talking incessantly, unable to stop.  Meanwhile, a jealous Lucien tries to break up Tranns and Kazuo.  When Adriana accuses him of marking his territory, he literally begins to urinate on Tranns.  Adriana shouts for order and everyone stops.  Just then, however, Khann and Trista, who have begun a romantic relationship, enter to see the wake of the chaos.  Adriana tells them not to see it and they are suddenly struck blind.

 

Casey is sent into the kitchen to determine the cause of the unusual situations, but her ability to help is hindered by the fact that she cannot seem to stop running.  Aden tries to calm the situation, but only annoys Adriana who bluntly tells him to go fly a kite.  He leaves the meeting.  Adriana begs Ariadne to do something useful, so Ariadne screams, effectively knocking everyone out, except for Lief and herself, and halting the unusual and unexplainable actions.

 

Together, Lief and Ariadne separate Casey, Shawn, and Jake from the rest of the group, putting them in the kitchen so they can do unhindered research into the events when everyone wakes.  The others wake up, confused and dazed.  Adriana accuses Kazuo of being a cry baby and he breaks out into hysterical tears.  She orders Lucien to comfort him and Lucien blindly obeys, though still angered over the Tranns encounter.  Frustrated, Adriana tells them to get a room and the two of them walk out.  This disgusts Adriana, who murmurs about beging gagged with a spoon.  Instantly, Khann goes into the kitchen to fetch a spoon and fulfill this command.  Casey, Jake, and Shawn see this and realize that every one of Adriana's commands are being fulfilled.

 

The lobby degenerates into an all out brawl as Adriana keeps screaming at people.  When she begs for love, Lex begins to clinging to her.  Adriana calls for people to defend her and both Khann and Lex find themselves tackled.  Casey sends Jake out into the fray to instruct Adriana to order everyone to freeze.  She does and everyone freezes instantly. 

 

Suddenly a stranger appears, a vengeance demon named Flordelis.  She says that she is impressed with the destruction wrought upon the Phoenix Fighters by Adriana and admits that she manipulated Adriana's powers to go haywire because she sensed a great anger in Adriana.  Flordelis offers to make Adriana a vengance demon.  Adriana politely turns down the offer and Flordelis departs cheerfully, removing the spell that makes all of Adriana's commands come true.  The Phoenix Fighters gather together, dazed and confused.  As they decompress, they realize that Aden is still missing.  He is found outside, trying to fly a kite.
